The Best Quarter Horse Genetics in our Weanlings
At Bridgeman Land & Livestock we strive to deliver
the best quarter horse genetics in our quality Quarter Horse weanlings.
For most of the year we have a good selection of quarter horse stud
colts and quarter horse fillies for sale.
Foals
are conformationally sound with pretty head, correct legs and well
proportion bodies. To go along with their looks they have good dispositions
and outstanding temperaments.
Foals raised in our program will go on to excel at a variety
of events. Many have gone on to become youth and amateur horses, trail
riding horses, show horses as well as ranch and roping horses. We
do not breed for a specific event we breed horses that are all around
performance horses. Currently some horses from our program are being
used for western pleasure and equitation, showmanship, English events,
team roping, team penning, and gaming horses.
All of our weanlings are born between the beginning of
April and the end of May. They are born in the yard then spend the
rest of the summer in pastures with their mothers. Our foals are raised
on good open prairie pasture. Also our mares are fed oats everyday
and their babies eat right along with them at the trough. So that
when they are weaned they all know how to eat oats by themselves.
This allows the foals to get a good start in life so when buyers take
a foal home either from a sale or directly off the farm it is not
as tough of a transition to being by themselves.
In our Quarter Horse foals we strive to produce a wide
range of colors. We own 4 buckskin stallions, 1 red dun and 1 sorrel therefore
we get a lot of colour including buckskin, palomino, dun, grullo,
cremello, perlino, brown, bay, black, and sorrel. Our
stallions have bloodlines of Mito Cody, Boggies Flashy Jac, Randy
Dell, Doc O'Lena, Peppy San, On The Money Red, Easy Jet, Flit Ba,
King, Driftwood, Orphan Drift, Gray's Starlight, and Peppy San Badger.
Many of the mares that our foals are out of have been
raised on our farm. They carry bloodlines of Mitos Perfection, Zan
Parr Bar, Tuffernhel, Two Eyed Jack, Red Baron Bell, Watch Joe Jack,
Skipa Star, Sir Quincy Dan, Quincy Sun Dun, Peponita, Poco Tivio,
Bugs Alive In 75, The Ole Man, Tuff Order, Doc's Jack Frost, Baron
Bell, Tardy Too, Sonny Go Lucky, Top Moon, Triple Chick, Three Bars,
Bully Bullion, Marthas Six Moons, Sixarun, Streakin Six, Shawne Bug,
Easy Jet, Dash For Perks and many more. We only breed conformationally correct mares
that also have good temperaments and are easy to work with.
Foals
can be bought directly off the farm or we take some to select weanling
sales such as the Rocking W Sale or the Manitoba Breeders Group sale
in Selby, Ontario. When buying directly off the farm customers can
see older horses that have come from the same program to see what
the foals will turn out like.
All foals are enrolled in the NAERIC Advantage Program. To learn more about the program visit www.NAERIC.org. Also any foal by Mitos Perfection, Boggies Flashy
Dell and MRH Fancy Money are eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund.
When of age MRH Fancy Money's Foals will be eligible for the Northern
Lights Barrel Futurity and other Barrel Racing Futurities clients desire.
