At Bridgeman Land & Livestock we currently have one colored Appaloosa stallion; DZ Scotch.

Disposition, personality, and trainability are all qualities that we breed for. Our horses are easy to train and go on to have many different careers. They can be used for simple trail riding horses or can go on to be top show or rodeo horses. Quality is our main focus. They must have correct conformation, as well as having a sound mind.

Many of the foals out of our program have gone on to by Canadian National Appaloosa champions, ApHCC Year end champions, world show finalists, provincial award winners and ApHCC and ApHC point earners. Moon Too was the 2001 and 2003 Manitoba High School Rodeo Association High Point Appaloosa Horse as well as being the horse that carried Kristy to championships in Breakaway Roping both years and Goat Tying in 2003.

DZ Scotch 2002-2018

DZ Scotch was introduced into our program in 2006.  His an own son of DZ Weedo out of a Scotch Bar Time daughter.  He is an awesome all around horse.  Kristy and Kirk showed "Scotch" at the 2006 Canadian National Appaloosa Show and earned 2 Canadian National Championships, multiple reserve championships and multiple top tens!!  He was also the High Point horse in Canada in Amateur Breakaway Roping and Amateur Flag Picking. Also he won the reserve National Championship in Junior Western Riding the first time being shown in the event!!

His foals ride as well as he does and have great, trainable minds.

Miracle Moon contributed to our program greatly from 1999 when we purchased him until 2002 when he passed away. Moon sired multiple national champions, ApHCC and ApHC point earners, and provincial winners. His foals have athletic ability matched with kind hearts and willingness to please. We still own about 10 of his daughters that we breed to DZ.

Bonds Reflection made a great impact on our Appaloosa breeding program.  Reflection was sired by James Bond who is by the great sire Goer and out of Mac's Goldie Go who was out of Princes MacDonald. Reflection was a solid bay but sired lots of color. He sired a number of leopard offspring.  Reflections offspring are good-looking, easy to train individuals. Many of his foals are ApHCC point earners, provincial award winners, and futurity champions.  Sadly Bonds Reflection passed away early in 2006!!

Mr Rock Solid was introduced into our program in 2002. He was a son of the great pleasure horse sire Rock Star and out of a daughter of Skip's Rewards. Rock threw very pretty, correct foals that were easy to work with. "Rock" is deceased but left a great impression on our program.
